Many local Wichitans are wondering the same question, “Why did 93.9 change their frequency?” We got the chance to sit down with Greg the Hitman and were able to get you the answer to that question, and more!

The BIG question for listeners to Power 93.9 is WHY did they change their frequency to 93.5? Greg the Hitman told us that the reason why was because they were given the opportunity and jumped at it! Their long time listeners know that they had issues with being able to be heard in certain areas throughout Wichita and its surrounding areas. Changing to 93.5 gave the station a greater span for listeners to be able to hear their favorite songs a lot easier!

Listeners should expect exactly the same station as 93.9 was, just a change from 9 to 5! The station is pushing, “Same station, different frequency.” Hitman and Heather are still with the station and love how it is now more accessible for their listeners.
