Then there is Skyler Branch who wore a custom dress that has the news and fashion world buzzing!
Today teens at Braden River High school are protesting the dress code policies after Lizzy Martinez was told she was distracting boys in her class after she decided to go bra less. Lizzy was instructed to place band aids on her nipples before being allowed to go back to class, has steered up quite the controversy.

There has been a lot of coverage regarding schools shootings as of late and it doesn’t seem like it will be fading away anytime soon. April 20th is the next planned national school walk out over gun violence. This date is significant because it marks the 19th anniversary of the Columbine shooting.
I wasn’t sure if I liked the television show “Black-ish” when it first came out. If you have not ever seen it, it is a show that airs on ABC about an upper middle-class African American family that tries to find it’s way in “Suburban Culture”, if you will, as they try to hold true to their “black identity”.
