Madden NFL Mobile 18 Review

By August 16, 2017No Comments

With the start of football season upon us, you know what that means. Yes, another year of Madden NFL Mobile is upon us! Let’s check it out.

Madden NFL Mobile is once again the most fluent mobile game I’ve ever played (aside from Pokemon GO). With a feel of actual Madden gameplay always at your fingertips, you’re sure to love this game.

You start out with a rewind of last year’s Super Bowl: Scoring a TD with James White on a pitch to the right side. Once you complete that, you can get into your loyalty rewards. Since I played Madden Mobile last year, I got seven FREE packs to help build my team.

Next, you have daily goals. Basically, you can get extra coins, experience or training points (TP) if you beat so many daily challenges or score so many points in Head-to-Head.

Speaking of training points, cards are now lowered in overall based on tier (bronze, silver, gold, elite), but can be upgraded with other training cards or “throwaway” players. I got a Dez Bryant as my first elite (I got LUCKY considering the fact that he’s my favorite player in the NFL) and he started as an 80 overall. With training, I now have him at an 82. The higher the card, the harder it is to train.

In the actual gameplay of Madden Mobile, I found that pass-rushing is much easier now. With just a simple swipe on the screen, you can choose to use a finesse move, power move, or just plain bull-rush after the ball carrier. It comes in quite handy considering I used my new J.J. Watt I got from one of the daily challenges. That is one thing this game has always been above-average on: Getting you new cards through sets or challenges without making you break the bank.
