Appearance

The UE Boom 2 looks pretty much the same as its predecessor except it has a new line of colors to choose from. It has a weaved cloth like material on the outside with rubber trim. It all adds up to a speak package that’s actually quite practical.

Functionality

Its very easy to operate the device. It becomes even easier when one downloads the companion app. With the added features it makes the device something you will want to have with you just in case you want to live life in high fidelity. The only issue I came across is the Bluetooth connection with certain apps. Major apps have no problem connecting and playing with out hiccups.

Sound quality

The speaker sounds amazing for its size. What it lacks in deep bass it makes up for in clarity and volume. The speaker can get very loud but its new update also allows it to get very quit for those moments when everyone does not want to hear your music. Although it may be lacking in bass it still packs a punch.

Usage:

Because of its speak construction and loads of protection it is very easy to pack around the speaker and find reasons to use it all day. Whether it be creating motivation at work or setting the mood at home this speaker can do it. It can go majority of places you can go.

The only problem I have with the speaker is its new feature. It allows you to tap to skip and pause. Its hit and miss since the user does not know how hard to tap to get the feature to work. It was a nice way to avoid button clutter but it still needs work.
