The Redskins opponent this week was Heights high, the falcons were coming in undefeated and north was 0-5. Heights were favored to win this game. As North came out looking alive and ready to go the falcons were still able to score in the first 3 minutes with their talented running backs. North didn’t hang their heads they still played hard throughout the quarter but heights still came rushing in the end zone. As the fourth quarter came along the score was 60-0, the Redskins were able to conceive their first touchdown of the game with Quarterback Darius Russel and the crowd went insane. Goes to show although north doesn’t have a talented football team they still have a extremely strong school spirit.

 

Dreadlocks Now Ban In The Workplace

In most recent news, federal courts have ruled that dreadlocks can now be ban in the workplace.

The Court of Appeals responded to a racial discrimination case back in 2010 in Alabama. Chastity Jones was getting ready to start her new job, but the offer was rescinded after Human Resources told her hairstyle was inappropriate. The woman’s reasoning was dreadlocks “tend to get messy.” Read More
