If I was given a paid visit to ANYWHERE in the world– first, I would cry tears of joy. Then, I’d pack my bags for Thailand.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore cities and cannot wait to live in one in the near future. However, I can’t deny that tropics are extremely vacation-worthy. Thailand’s culture has always astounded me. I’ve learned about it since the 5th grade when my friend first moved here from Thailand. As I had the privilege of helping her to learn the english language, I also had the privilege of her teaching me how to speak Thai. I’ve bought several books, including Rosetta Stone Thai (which I would have to dust off before packing), on the language and culture. Many of their beliefs contrast to ours here immensely. A good way to appreciate some of that would be to visit the Grand Palace. Thai food is nothing short of adventurous, and the floating river market in Bangkok isn’t something I would miss. Also, who WOULDN’T want to ride atop an elephant? The beaches, tropical forests, art, statues, food, people… Thailand is without a doubt at the top of my destination list.
