In a recent report by Yahoo sports, the Houston Rockets reportedly have started shipping Dwight Howard to other teams. With the NBA trade deadline approaching (February 18th), the 27-28 Rockets desperately need a change, and these trades could be one!Boston Celtics: Rockets receive David Lee, Amir Johnson, Avery Bradley, and 2016 Celtics’ first-round pick (from Mavericks). Celtics receive Dwight Howard, Ty Lawson, and Montrez Harrell. In this trade, the Rockets would receive an offensive threat in David Lee, a great rebounder in Amir Johnson, a top-five perimeter defender in Avery Bradley, and a first round pick (projected at #19). The Celtics would be getting Dwight Howard and a couple of pieces that Brad Stevens could fit into the rotation.

Toronto Raptors: Rockets receive Demarre Carroll, Cory Joseph, Patrick Patterson, Luis Scola, James Johnson, and Lucas Nogueria. Raptors receive Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson. In this trade, the Rockets receive some strong young pieces to build around and the Raptors get a starting center and a backup point guard, which makes them a legitimate threat in the East.
