It’s Chesley Buser here with my top ten things to do to relax!

  1. Painting. Whether you are good at painting or can’t even paint a straight line painting is calming and satisfying. Calming brushstrokes can ease even the most high strung mind.

  1.   Cooking. I like cooking mainly for fun and of course delicious food but also it can be very zen. Even making a dish as simple as spaghetti and meatballs can encourage creativity which has been proven to calm someone.

  1.   Reading. One of the oldest calmers in the book, reading can transport you to places where you don’t have to worry anymore and just relax and unwind.

  1.  Exercising.  Although annoying and exhausting at times going for a run, doing yoga, swimming and doing things that are really helpful. These activities can help you focus and feel good about yourself. Exercising I feel is worth the tired feeling afterward.

  1.  Sleeping. Speaking of exhaustion sleeping is one of my favorite ways to relax. There is nothing as calming as a good nap after a stressful day. Well, I guess since sleeping is at number six I guess it isn’t the best but it is still pretty calming.

  1.   Taking a hot bath/ going to the hot tub. At the halfway point we encounter a great way to relax! Taking a hot bath with a bath bomb can be a way to clear your head and help with sleeping.  A hot tub is also a good thing but bath bombs kinda disappear in them ( don’t do it I’ve tried).

  1.   Going out to eat. Treating yourself is always a way to relax. Treat yourself to a nice dinner like steak or maybe a new thing to try like sushi! All in all, new experiences always help!

  1.   Going out with friends.  Going out with friends can help you focus on something other than whatever is making you nervous. Sometimes hanging out with your support system is a HUGE help.

  1.  Clean and organize your room. Sometimes just cleaning up and getting into an organized routine can help you focus on you and your wellbeing! Even it can be dusty just turn on some music to pass the time.

  1.   Music.   And at my number one spot listening to Music! Listening to the calming voice of Frank Sinatra or the masterpieces of the band “QUEEN” listening to music will always help you relax.

Thank you guys for reading let me know what topic I should cover next and as always: Stay safe, Stay you, Stay Happy! Bye Bye!
