Chip Kelly was recently hired as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, but why do I say he is the wrong fit for their organization? Click “Read More” to hear my reasoning.

To understand why Kelly isn’t the fit for the 49ers, we first have to understand the difference between his coaching in college football at Oregon as opposed to his recent shenanigans in Philadelphia, where he coached the Eagles for the past three years.

At Oregon, Kelly changed the pace of the PAC-12 by constantly running an incredibly fast-paced offense and a deep defense. Once Coach Kelly moved to the NFL, he tried to somewhat implement the same offense. As you can tell by his recent firing and change in scenery, that didn’t work out too well.

Kelly led the once 4-12 Eagles club from 2013-14 to two straight 10-6 seasons and one playoff berth. During this past 2015-16 season, the Chip Kelly-led Eagles dropped to 6-9. This under-.500 record was due mainly to the fact that Kelly got rid of rising QB Nick Foles for an injury-prone Sam Bradford. He also traded Eagles’ star and Pro-Bowl running back, LeSean “Shady” McCoy to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso. These moves propelled the Eagles backward.

The 49ers are basically a dumpster fire. They are in FULL rebuilding mode. Adding Chip Kelly to the mix might not work out like they’d like. See how everything plays out with San Fran and keep up to date with TeenView Sports for more of the latest NFL news!
