Frozen 2 was definitely a movie that was given a huge expectation due to the 1st movie being amazing. The question I am here to answer is, did the movie meet its expectations. This review will be based off of plot, characters, and soundtrack. These three tropics are very important and easy to compare to the first movie.

The plot of Frozen 2 was one hundred percent based around mysteriousness. Elsa has a problem occur that is important to her, but won’t tell anyone about it because she doesn’t think it’s a big deal. Elsa ventures off by herself and this causes Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf to go on an adventure to find her. Together Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf work together to find her while Elsa is finding herself. The plot is definitely strong and clearly has one main point to cover, which makes it easy to follow and very interesting.

The characters that were built in Frozen 1 were also included in Frozen 2, but some were slightly changed. Elsa seems a little more enclosed with herself than usual and isn’t the same person she used to be. Anna is very close to the same, because she always looking out for her sister, Elsa. Kristoff was always helpful as usual and never gave up on anyone. Finally Olaf, Olaf was once again portrayed as a comedic character. Olaf’s comedy is hilarious for both children and adults, and his comedy also adds comedic relief from stressful situations. Overall the characters were about the same, but added on to a little bit due to the plot.

Finally, the soundtrack. Frozen 1 had an amazing soundtrack for all ages. The songs in Frozen 2 weren’t as catchy as Let It Go in Frozen 1. Though the movie did have the overall hit of Into The Unknown, it didn’t measure up to the first movie. The songs were catchy, but definitely got old pretty fast.

In conclusion, Frozen 2 was a great movie to watch with your kids. The content of the movie had stuff for all ages. The plot was a little hard to follow for a small child, but very interesting for someone a little older around the age of 8. The characters were great and well added onto, so no complaints there. The soundtrack didn’t live up to what was expected, but it was still fun to listen to. A recommended age for the movie would be around 7 and all ages above.
