In response to the Ray Rice mess, the Baltimore Ravens themed picture was photoshopped and has been spotted on many social media accounts. The model who was originally sporting purple eyeshadow and winged eyeliner, now has a horrible black eye. This new version of the ad with the hashtag #GetYourGameFaceOn has a whole new meaning.

CoverGirl users want the brand to dismiss its NFL partnership. Many people have tweeted that they would boycott the brand if they continue their partnership. CoverGirl’s spokesperson, Lauren Brinker stated, “We developed our NFL program to celebrate the more than 80 million female football fans. In light of recent events, we have encouraged the NFL to take swift action on their path forward to address the issue of domestic violence.”

Other boycotting hashtags being used on social media along with this picture are  #GoodellMustGo and #Boycott49ers.
