Rookies such as Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge have made huge names for themselves in the first few months of this  MLB season. See why and how these two players have affected the game so much below!

Aaron Judge, a twenty-five year old rookie outfielder out of Fresno State, made his Major-League Debut this year. He was signed back in 2013, but an injury during one of the running drills in preseason caused him to miss the remainder of the season and he was placed in the minors for a season and was obviously good enough to make the switch, thus proving his health. Judge leads the MLB with twenty-four home runs and has a fifty-five percent home run conversion rate on balls hit high and deep. Aaron Judge has not revealed if he will attend the 2017 Home Run Derby on All Star Weekend.

Cody Bellinger is a twenty-one year old first baseman who skipped college to go straight into the minors and was scheduled to make his professional debut at the beginning of the 2017 season, but was set back a few weeks due to a fall hamstring injury. Bellinger is the first player since 2009 to hit a home run in ten consecutive games. He has an average of one home run a game. Bellinger is open minded to participating in the Home Run Derby in two weeks.

Not too bad for a couple rookies, eh?
