This Thursday the NBA announced both, the starting lineups and their respective captains, no surprise on the captains, we have Team Lebron and Team Giannis.

Lebron James was the one we all expected to lead his own team on this All-Stars Game regarding his outstanding stats this season after signing a 154M contract with the Los Angeles Lakers for the next 4 seasons.

As the other captain, we have Giannis Antetokoumpo, a rookie who started with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013 and has been improving his numbers on the court since then.

In the Western Conference, we start with Lebron as the captain, followed by Kevin Durant, James Harden, Stephen Curry, and Paul George this is the big 5 who earned the right to be named the starters in this All-Stars game this season from the Western Conference.

Now, looking at the Eastern Conference we can also see top players accompanying Antetokounmpo, like Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Kemba Walker, and last but not least Joel Embiid.

One of the biggest surprises when looking at these 10 players is the absence of Luka. Luka Doncic is one of the best Rookies of all time in the NBA, with his astonishing stats in his Rookie year many people think he should´ve been one of the 5 starters for the Western Conference. But the NBA decided not to choose him, we´ll need to wait until the full All-Star draft comes out.

The NBA also announced the release date for that full draft, that will be February 7th on TNT. We´ll for sure see Luka Doncic on that draft, followed by many other outstanding players of both conferences. And Lebron and Giannis will be able to make their pics for the big game.

This year, the teams led by James and Antetokoumpo will be wearing black and white jerseys, with the logo of their respective teams on the chest.

This 2019 All-Stars Game will be epic!
