Park the Phone was a success at Maize High. The campaign goal was to get 1000 teens to pledge to not text and drive and we beat our goal!
Teenview Magazine took over maize high on October 31st and Nov 1st. The goal was to raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving.
every 15 mins someone dies due to distracted driving. The best way to stop this is to park your phone.
This year Teenview Magazine chose to show the dangers of texting and driving by having death visit the class rooms every 15mins and pull kids out to symbolize their deaths.
“eerie” ” wow thats crazy” ” AAH!” were just a few phrases said by the students about the event.
