Who Owns Christmas?

It’s almost that time! Now the question is: Who owns Christmas? Mariah Carey or Michael Bublé? The debate has been going on for a while, and it’s about time for an answer.

Mariah Carey’s last Christmas album was ¨Merry Christmas¨ back in 1994. One of her songs on the album was “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” In 2019, 25 years after the album dropped, ¨All I Want for Christmas Is You¨ hit the ¨Billboard Hot 100” at No. 1’’ for the first time. She recently came out with a new song ¨Merry Christmas To All¨ that will drop on December 11, while performing it LIVE!

Michael Bublé’s last Christmas album was ¨Christmas¨ back in 2011. His most popular song on the album was ¨It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas.¨ While Michael Bublé only released one Christmas album, Mariah Carey released two Christmas albums. Mariah’s album sold “15 million copies” marking one of the “best-selling albums” of all time. Michael sold “12 million copies.”
