The Royals are going to the World Series! You heard me right; The Royals are going to the World Series! For the first time in almost 30 years, the Kansas City Royals will be playing in the World Series. They’ll have a tough test in their opponent: The San Francisco Giants. The Giants will be looking for their third World Series championship since 2010, whereas the Royals haven’t been to the Fall Classic since 1985!

This series should be a good one, with many people predicting it to go a full seven games. With both teams being coached very well by Royals’ manager Ned Yost and Giants’ manager Bruce Bochy, you’re sure to see a very disciplined series. Since both teams “stack up” very close in all aspects of the game (Pitching, batting, bullpen, defense and managing), it may come down to home-field advantage, which the Royals have.

My prediction? The Kansas City Royals in seven games! I think Kansas City’s bullpen of Herrera, Davis and Holland may just be too much for the Giants to overcome. You can make your own prediction by tweeting to TeenView Magazine @teenviewmag and telling us your picks! See you guys Tuesday, October 21st for Game 1 in Kansas City!
